Apply for a Rental

When applying for a rental, it’s a good idea to have the right documents on hand. Being prepared with the necessary documentation will make it easier for an agent and landlord to fast-track your rental application.

You will need to complete a rental application form and include additional supporting documents such as:

• Identification: photo ID such as driver’s license or passport and/or Medicare card, bank cards or birth certificate
• Income: payslips, bank statements or a Centrelink income statement
• References: professional and personal which you must supply names and contact details

You can also include copies of your rent ledger, rent receipts, rates notices and utility accounts.
